Halls Giant

Variety of German selection. Gunslebener Zeller seedling from free pollination. Selected in 1788 in the city of Galle (flood) the land of Saxony-Anhalt. It is entered in the State register of plant varieties of Ukraine in 2010.

Incompatibility alleles S5, S15. Very productive, late flowering and ripening. Fruits are single or collected in 3-5.
The wrapper is about the length of a nut, deeply cut, serrated.

Widely conical nuts, laterally compressed, with a convex base, 20-28 mm long, 20-25 in diameter, light to dark brown in color, with dark longitudinal stripes, weighing 2.9-3.5 (4.5 ) g the shell is thick.

Yield - kernels 36-44%; oil content - 61.7-65.6%; protein content - 18.1%.
